Fourteen years ago, terror struck the United States. Four planes were hijacked by militants associated with al-Qaeda. Two planes were flown into the World Trade Center towers in NYC, another plane into the Pentagon outside Washington D.C., and a fourth crashed in a field in PA. Over 3,000 people were killed. This photo of my brother's German Shepherd is in memory and in honor of all the people who serve and protect the United States of America. To all military personnel, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, etc, thank you for your service. This includes my dad, who served in the Vietnam War as an artilleryman, and my boyfriend, Wes, who served 3 tours in the Iraq War as a 7/10th Cavalry Army Scout, our friend's dad, Mr. Cordova, Lt. for the Cincinnati Police and to all their brothers and sisters in Arms. You are heroes.
